I was talking with some friends recently and something occurred to me:

Many popular sitcoms feature a swinging door between the kitchen and the living room. However, you rarely encounter that in real-life. It's only commonly found in sitcom houses.

So, how come so many swinging doors?

For instance, if I recall correctly, the interior swinging door is featured in:

The Cosby Show
Different Strokes
Full House
Family Matters
Three's Company
Family Ties
Step By Step

Please feel free to forward me the names of other sitcoms that feature a swinging door between the kitchen and living room. I would like to acquire the most complete list of these shows. For no particular reason.
